Ein Ausflug nach Europa-Park

Europa-Park is the largest theme park in Germany and the second most popular theme park resort in Europe, following Disneyland Paris.

Europa-Park is located in Rust, in south-western Germany, between Freiburg and Strasbourg, France.

The park is home to twelve roller coasters.

We went there on 3rd October. It was a one day trip. We woke up at 5 a.m. to catch a 6.30 a.m. train so that we can be there at 9 o'clock. It's about 3 hours train ride from Mannheim via Regional Bahn. I'm not sure if there is ICE bahn to Europa-Park.

Oh I have to mention this! We went there with Kombi-Tiket which include the train ticket (Regional only) and the entrance ticket to Europa-Park. For one person, it's 60 Euro but it get cheaper if you go with friends maximum total of 5. You only have to pay about 45 Euro.

I went there with two of my friends, Syera and Kilah.

Since we went there on October, guess what? The theme was Halloween, so ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins are everywhere.

Very huge pumpkin indeed.

Even though it had the Halloween theme, country-theme is it fix theme. It has Germany, Switzerland, England etc. Every country has their own unique theme which represent their country. Here is the Park Plan:

First, we rode a roller coaster which is not extreme but it involve water. Yeah, gotta get wet early in the morning to get you up! But bad idea. It was cold.

After that we rode one of the extreme Roller Coaster. Oh I have to mention this. Europa Park is not picky about using our phone/camera to record the ride not like some of Theme Park (I pointed at you Disneyland Paris!)

Statue in the Roller Coaster which the rail is made with wood

Here is some of the Roller Coaster that I consider awesome-balls!

1. Silver Star – Hypercoaster and Europe's second highest and fifth fastest roller coaster, standing 239 ft tall with a top speed of 78 mph. The ride is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. Less loop, but more up and down with speed!

2. Eurosat– Indoor coaster themed around space travel. Located inside a large geodesic sphere structure, similar to Spaceship Earth at Walt Disney World's Epcot. Spinning endlessly.

3. Wodan Timbur Coaster – wooden coaster built by Great Coasters International featuring a heavily themed, detailed queuelin. Classic, the rail made out of wood really triggering.

4. Blue Fire – launched roller coaster with several inversions, onboard sound and unique restraint system. Includes various headchopper effects and a dark ride section with a variety of special effects.
There are many others but I leave it at here. And sorry for not having the Roller Coaster picture. Humm, weird. Because we have to wait like 1 hour for every ride but I didn't take any picture of it. Too excited, or just exhausted?

Here's more proofs of the Halloween theme like you need it. Anyway..
As you can see, the big Pumpkin is where the Eurosat Roller Coaster is. You know you're near the main entrance when you see it.

There is small stand everywhere in case you get hungry. We got this pasta pumpkin something, sorry can't remember the name and donuts. Mini Donuts with Chocolate sauce, it was delicious. They sell standard snack like Crepe, Waffle, Bread etc.
And don't worry about toilets. They're everywhere and super clean.

Pumpkin Pasta whatever

Here are some of the pictures in Switzerland (not real Switzerland). I personally find that this part of the Europa Park is the most beautiful part. Wonder if Switzerland is the same as it is.

Last Roller Coaster ride before we went for dinner. Yeah, it was a day trip so we have to sort of fasting a little to finish all the ride (just the fun one that is).

So here we were. Eating! This concept restaurant is dope. It's called Foodloop and it send your foods via Roller Coaster Rail. Crazy eyyy?! No one will serve you. You order your food using a computer. Just don't over push it, or you'll end up with a huge bill!

Because Halloween

There are other concept restaurant else well but we didn't have time and money for all them. Maybe nest time. :D

The funny thing about the end of our day was, we were excited to ride the Merry-Go-Round. It was night, dark, no children so why not?! We rode it three times. We are not ashamed! The assistant was happy to let us rode it dann yeah, bring out the inner Child!

It was supposed to be a Zombie parade but I don't know if we missed it or it just didn't happen.

At night it was full with lights and people in scary costume. They even scared me once. Curse you, Zombie!

Silver Star

So, that was it: Our short trip to Europa Park. One tip, wear your comfortable shoes, please because you will be standing for hours. And make sure your shoes are water proof!
